Dear Attitude,
The sky is the limit, so you better lift your spirit. Dream like a fool and forget that the world is cruel. Now stop dreaming, and act like it.
Agitation sets in.
Rays of sunshine assault the roost.
Orange beams awaken the cock.

They often don't think before they speak,
Some words are strong,
While others are weak.
Some people are different,
Some are strange.
But those who are selfish,
They must change.
As I lay down in bed
I think about what I could have done differently
I think about what my life could have been
What if my dad had never left?
What if my sister would have never been born?
We've been told from a young age
How beauty is and ought be defined
From a young age I have felt resigned
Feelings of innadaquacy I could not assuage
Actors, makeup, body type, it's all staged
Do not be like a jagged rock;
static, forlorn, yet easily eroded.
Do not be like the mountain;
overbearing, ignorant, unmovable.
Do not be like the wind;
blowing too hot or very cold.
Walking the halls
Is harder than you think
Losing friends
Can happen in a blink
Having stress
And feeling depressed
Are all the things
I'm trying to express
We are surrounded by people and things,
By those who are chained and by those who have wings,
By those who love life and dare to dream,
And by those who are scared to even be seen.
Attitudes,
How do they teach me?
Smart remarks,
How do they help me?
I'm defiant?
I just want to learn.
Rowdy classes and rude students,
do you care?
You just pass us 'cause we're here.
Instantaneous instinct in the shadows of
My yesterday; the nostalgic scent sickens me.
What used to plunge my soul in hypnosis
Is now a long-lost, hurtful memory,
A reflection in which I've built immunity
I am the one for the talk
The walk has commenced
