Why a Bee?because you fear them?fear them not my love, they produce the sweetness that you devour, why are you afraid my love?so bright with yellow and black stipes, they're here to pollinate the crops, they're not here to hurt you, they're all around
The wind swallows the dirt
On a dark, rainy day
But who swallows the wind?
The tree holds up the sky
To make way for birds to fly
But who holds up the trees?
CRUSH! SMASH!
is all he heard
when the ball of his
tennis shoe descended
upon amber wings that hummed between
the sprays of honeysuckles…
SCRAPE! SCRAP!
scratch his ears as his foot twists
