If I love you, and I don't know I love you,
What do I do?
How do I name wanting to watch you
Every second, thinking about you
Constantly, how do I name wanting to touch your hands?
Look past the outskirts of the town of stray men
Where none think to trod
A black wall caging in the livestock
All together lost within an arbitrary boundary
Run blindly past the seam of shadow and light
I’m 60% water
Every cell in my body is living
For that intricate H2O
I persevere to stretch
My ambitions
To be boundless
Like the water
That sneaks and slides
"Work smarter not harder"
is the one thing i came to conceive
in a deserted location home or work
an idea that provides in order to receive
Sand surrounding me
Upon waves that seem so calm
With a sky so blue as clouds ride the wind
“Ah, is this paradise, or is this reality?”
A pinch in the arm, a confirmer, I can continue life
When your heart threatens to fall out your ass.
When your brain won't cease spitting out rapid-fire bullets labeled
What if
If Only
What about
Maybe
Maybe Not
Oh, I’m here waiting for youWith a devil on my shoulderAnd an angel embedded in my heart
There is a battle inside me
Between my (guilty) conscience
And my nature
Between logic and feeling
Between head and heart
Between Scripture and hormones
Between Leviticus and love…
