Here is a story
Left often untold.
Of a young lad and his lass,
Unusual to both new and old.
The words are aflight
And the plot is afoot --
There! Do you see him?
Dirty, covered in soot,
I am doomed By my conviction.Or is it just my assumption?I am sad.But I know I ain't depressed,I just don't feel happyOr any reasons toHave been delighted.I am that cloud
What is itWhen you can't decideWhat you like,What you dislike,What is there inside you,What you want,What you need,What you see,What you feel,Or, what you are?
While my heart does bleed
For new life never born
My mind does heed
The pain of a mother torn
The decision to forestall
Life's seed to full bloom
Is a powerful anguish
of hellish gloom
What mind enlightened of God
Could reconcile a forsaken entrustment...
To guardian the yet unborn?
What eye that sees by Light
Could blind itself this darkest deed?
I went to the fair
Hoping to make a find.
Then I spotted a stand.
It was one of a kind.
All kinds of good pies
Were setting right there.
Could I choose from them all?
The words on the signs
and the threat of the whites
are what keep us out.
Stuck in a dilemma:
do we keep our heads down
and go on with our unfair lives
accepting what is reality,
