“Lean back” “No lean forward”   The water gushes and churnes Beneath the silver hull The wind racing through tendrils of blonde
Santa Claus and sleigh bells in hundred degree heat Laughing boys with new bikes tearing up the street Snowmen and reindeer just don’t seem to match With the crack of the willow and screams of ‘catch’

I saw upon yonder, a tree standing alone,Upon a hill, so stony and cold.I wandered that hill up to the tree,And to my surprise, the tree said to me,

Your home is silent, full of peace. Just you and your thoughts. Just you. As you open the door, there are so many things going on. Screaming. Crying. Forest fires.

And so the shot went off, The ringing in my head When will this nightmare stop? My friends, all left for dead
