How old must you be to experience this “true” love?     They say one doesn’t experience true love until much later in life…   But can that actually be true?   What is “true” love, anyhow? 
When the clouds block out the sky I won't forget There's still a sun, a sky after rain I'm still A little flower, letting go Of what I think I know

Love is an obse
The moment I mention his name, Like the silence of the dreams they haven't yet killed, The room becomes quiet and still. Their words like whips "CRACKS!" start to fill the room Slicing gashes on my heart.
The world seems so small from inside here; The horizon stretches beyond what I see as clear. These bars hold me back and keep me in. Will I ever get out and say that I am living?  
No one sees and no one can find What I hide beneath this facade of mine Constantly wanting for what cannot be Constantly wishing for a better school, A better life, And better friends
Life is unfair The adults all preach it But it takes so long for you to believe it You ride the waves Until the board breaks
