I try and try to hold, to no prevail as my labial frustration spews and echoes through halls with paper thin walls separating us from the stares, I don’t care... I DON’T CARE

If you try to change minds just by yelling,
Nobody will buy what you're selling,
So put down the knife,
Get on with your life,
'Cause cursing folks out ain't compelling.
I feel like I'm drowning in your words and every time I open my mouth to breath, I lose more air.
Hungrily it devours,
It prances through the forest
Untamed and free
Spreading it’s cruel fury.
Dancing, it reaches,
Caresses the sky.
It’s flickering blaze a graceful ballet,
The angry skies on a sleepless night,
Rolling thunder, flashes of light,
A tireless battle midst roiling clouds.
A quick parry, a sudden thrust,
Their booming voices,
Him and Her.
You shouldn't fix what's not broken,
unless your in denial,
but I don't want to admit,

Quiet clinking of glasses and mushy chewing

I'm tired of all the bickering,
mommy and daddy always fight.
My mom working hard in the kitchen,
my dad always drinking bud light.
There's always some kind of conflict between them,
You're convincing,
but it comforts me to know that you're not always right.

They're important, but they aren't facts.
And you're wrong sometimes.
We're human.
Another night in sorrow,
In pain.
Fighting, yelling, and arguing,
Seems like it never ends.
The simplest things seems like they become more complex.
Tension grows.
Love dozes off, disappears,
We got into a fight today.
I didn’t get a black eye
but an empty spirit
when words you spat
tore through my flesh
with burning sensations.
Your work left no visible marks.
