I look at my black mirror When I need to check up on my news, Read emails others just throw away, Or talk to friends who are looking to muse.
Golden sunset lemons, twinkly sliced unlike the first time I ran my pen, and eyes, dry. Puckers and sighs against a luminescent sky-- only dreams back then, something to imagine.
Shall fires and storms rage ignored in my mind, Unnoted, wreaking havoc, just to fade? Shall flowers of romance ne’er water find, And dry ere they assume their lovely shade?
Come with me and watch the sunset fade. Let’s get away from this fake masquerade. Can you feel the cool, fresh air? We can be ourselves here and have not a care. The scenery here is very vivid and vast.
