A phone book full of numbers
Of relatives I barely know
And friends, who barely know me
The plumber who fixed my faucets once
The electric company and
Random strangers
But who are useful in some way
Upon a chair
Was my old scarf
Across the top
Or around the arm
From up upon
My chest
And around
My neck
Sun touched
So hot and
Full of nets
They shed their blood, sweat, and tears.
Doubt wasn't a stranger, but they still faced their fears.
People who have made something from little nothings
That have gone before me, confidently spreading their wings.
When I was younger I would always complain how I wanted to be an adult
In result I realized that was the last thing I wanted to do
God I am frustratedNothing is as it shouldWonderful thoughts of flightBroken calls of worry
There is a time in person’s life
That each one of us must conquer
With no way around it
Where we must lay down to rest
Knowing we may never rise again
But each person
Does not cease to exist
Everywhere we go, money here, money there
Everywhere we go, it's jewelry or hair
When you don't have something it's not fair
How others have everything they get to wear
Who would ever understand
The person that I am
He says he loves, he seems so sure
But he doesn't have a plan
I try and try and try
But only seem to fail
If I try one more time
Pain has brought me to the fear of being alone now. These are words that may, NO, can never escape my lips. They need me to be strong. I can't let them see me cry. Why you ask, because my strength is all they got.
With a swift brush of the breeze, you are beautiful.
Soaking in your everlasting scent, I can see you.
The ability to taste your bountiful lips is euforic, in the sense of purity and love.
Here's one from several months back:
Weighed down by the mistakes of my past
A pebble, a rock, a mountain on my shoulders
At first I ran, regrets like quicksand sucking at my feet
We keep best friends in 5 places
1. Our mothers' costume jewelry boxes we used in elementary school
a) plastic earrings
Have Faith
Open your arms wide and smile
Perfection is part of refraction
Even when you fail, you wont EVER fall!
I own these things;these things I bore, yet left me for deadI own these things. No ones name but mine engraved. No one to blame, but me to blame.Everlasting, unforgiven, unchanging.
I walk into class with a smile on my face. I take my work complete it and get an A. Although I seem like a normal student there will always be things you dont know.
You don't know I'm gay in a family of religious freaks
Our World is quiet, and operates in shadows.
The secret committees commence with their meetings.
The silent leaders annually rendezvous.
We are strong and stealthy, though we are only teething.
There are some things girls just didn't know they didn't want to know.
Like the way you didn't know you didn't want to know what your parents were doing while you were sleeping Christmas Eve.
