stop looking at me with those beautiful brown eyes
stop playing with your hair that way
stop glancing at me with a disgusted look

Pink roses bloom
on the brightest day
and indulge in lambent light
as the sun shines down
from the bright heavens above
in a jubilation of rays
as I count the days
moments made me love you
these moments
meant nothing to you
but still at the end of the day
im still
