4:02 pm in the parking lot my Father can smell the fear reeking from my jacket with the three holes on the right sleeve that resemble a smiley face  
A mother's love  whether throughout times of sorrow,  or times of glory, is all but shallow.    A mother's love is a thunderstorm,  rumbling through a once peaceful sleep, 
You have guided my steps and lit my way Answers like petals on a blooming flower In the depth of spring You have showed me true strength In the face of adversity Even when that challenge comes from
Browns eyes, smiling dark brown eyes.  You swore to protect that smiling gleam in her eyes.  Working day in and day out, tiring yourself out ot bring food.  Yet, you had time to be there, to watch her grow and play. 
From childhood to adulthood you’ve been with me. I can not thank you enough for the sacrifices you’ve made, for our family. Your wisdom, your guidance, your loving hand.   Has gotten me through times, unplanned.
A knock comes at my door But I’m absorbed. They ask to come back, reality calls But I’m not ready to leave my nap; to fall I’m absorbed in this fake reality It’s a burning need
Tears stream with memory. Reflections of joy sing. The taste of salt reaches my lips. Warmth radiates from my face.   A smile cracks with love. I jump into his arms. Warmth envelops me.
