Specks of dust in light
Like falling stars,
Comforting on the worst of nights.
In the headlights of oncoming cars,
Or the dull streetlamp glow.
Moths tremble soft wings,
I don’t believe in love,
So please don’t love me.
It’s more of a dream we wish to grasp
But like all else, we don’t possess anything.
