Oxygen
It’s all we need to breathe.
But being able to say the word “oxygen” is perhaps,
The truest form of novelty.
Oxygen is a light molecule with a light composition,
I'm blind to lines
Except the red ones, by design,
Like loose leaf, looking higher
Seeing white, being inspired to try
By a margin of heaven
Above a sea of blue lies
What am I to you?

Am I what you disregard?
As I looked around me I knew I was safe
But then Mommy brought me to a different place.
With people my size and a lady like Mom
I began to assimilate into the mob.
They gave me a stick and stiff napkin
