nothing much in this world
is sweeter than an apple
you picked yourself
nothing much more satisfying
than teeth going crunch
on sweet apple-flesh
tell me that you want a tree,
an Apple Tree.
the fruit you desire, it will produce
but, if you, plant it first.
the tree will give you many years
but, if you, will give it drink.
I have picked the fruits that stem from my intellectual tree in order to create my platter of dissertation.
