I stay
because I know that
if I stand and turn to leave
you'll watch
and let me go.
And so I stay
I'm gonna laugh so hard
my ribs hurt
Cry until my head aches
Cut until my legs go numb
I'm gonna feign apathetic
Till the day I die
And you will leave me all alone
Because toxicity runs down
Water rushes without the light
All alone, a lonely plight
A whoosh of air, I’m not alone
A bright, bright light
Your face then shone.
