The Earth, our home, was once so beautiful,
Tall trees, deep seas with air so fresh and clean;
Sun rise, clear skies this place was yet youthful,
From then to now
Oh, how have things changed
I’m no longer innocent,
Yet I’m no longer in pain
That girl in middle school
Might have seen me as lame
I don’t have as many friends
Sharing giggles, locked eyes, silly faces,
Midnight phonecalls, dreaming of futures.
Arcades, Sci fi movies, Civilization matches.
He introduces Legend of Zelda.
America, America! How lucky we are
To not have to strain to reach for the stars.
And yes, I'm aware how well-off I've got it,
but I don't have to feel bad if I haven't thought it.

Oh how your gentle knocking stirs my pelvic floor!
I pause my binging,
And begin unhinging
