This poem about bananas
May seem like lots of fun
But I’d rather write a poem
About an apple, pear, or plum.
My little brother is obsessed with bananas.
He's twelve.
That makes it slightly less weird.
He calls ordinary people "Bob" when laughing
and his current favorites "banana."
I love your yellow curvy bend.
Banana you are my friend.
So perfect in your skin.
Whenever I see you, I win.
You exude a fragrant invitation.
I drool with anticipation.
