It’s hard to find friends when you’re older—
at least, that’s what the “experts” say.
When your folks were 57,
you thought that they’d soon go on to heaven.
But now that I have reached that same “old” age
a different story’s being told.
A journey of life
A painful endeavor
A confusing time
An inner turmoil
A questioning mind
A cloudy mess
A day by day
There will always be traffic but stay in your lane, focus on YOUR destination, i promise it will keep you sane. & youll grow from it to , making you "the better" you that you have always wished and hoped to come true.
I will always choose
the simple life.
The path that winds around
the fragrant lilac bushes,
that meanders across
the hillside,
and flows down
through the river valley.
