Poems from rkcdlitt
I am a retired high school and college professor. The last 10 years of my teaching was as a college professor of literature and writing. I have self-published one book of prayers and meditations and am preparing another book of poetic odes to faith and love.

not really, God is within,
always with us.
We are never lifted to God;
He joins us in our peril,
In our suffering...
Times leave us so low
I fear for what tomorrow brings
I pray for spirit to within grow
my heart opens, my soul sings
Need we...
I hunger for some quietude,
my assumptions be released,
accepting my exhilaration
of God’s Truth in the world.
God’s vision cannot...
The Word created us;
our Lord draws near;
He speaks and His light shines
Within us.
Listen for The Word,
for in the beginning
is The Word....
The day of Jesus soon to come,
his birth so very, very near;
born so far from home
with his life he did endear
for us to care, rescue,...
