I am a seventeen year old whose perfect day consists of writing poetry, having a long conversation, going to Mass, eating dinner with family, jogging a mile, reading a good book, looking at the stars, spending time in Eucharistic Adoration, drinking hot cocoa and falling asleep after saying a rosary. I love school, my family, the Song of Songs, and learning about everything I possibly can.
I believe that poems have brown eyes
That when you read you can see a soul and heart
There's a depth one cannot grasp
And perhaps one...
Your life was rather short little tadpole
And you never got to hop
Your little legs seemed to
Whisper of the dreams
You might have had
