Poems from Piper Lehr
I diet, exercise, and exercise,
nothing seems to work.
Still 152lbs.
Swim for a couple hours,
go to the gym,
run around the block twice. ...
Once I was
an empty, dark sky,
missing the stars.
Now I am
a sunset,
making everyone happy.
I saw shyness distinctly.
She was shaking, clustered in the corner.
She turned around and cloaked herself from me.
I saw her cerulean...
So much depends
upon
a lapis thin
jacket
drenched in freezing
rain
beside nobody
but shadows.
I could see that she had a purple cloak
over her feelings,
Constantly picked on with a wall over
her heart.
She went upstairs to her room...
