Poems from MarinEO
I am a Senior at Julesburg High School, the only school in the small town I grew up in. My dreams drive me to be the best I can be at school and in my community. I spend my time with friends and family, volunteering, and playing sports.
Today might be hard
Tomorrow might be harder
But ten years from now,
things will be brighter.
Racism is what we make of it.
It is not a problem.
We make it a problem.
Blonde hair
Green eyes
Short legs
And cheerful smile
Joyful laugh
Full of life
And full of love
The biggest heart
A girl could have...
A young happy girl
Grew up to be so outspoken
With too much on her mind
At home on the weekends
Watching movies
With some friends
So quiet...
