Love came here one day,
Made a garden,
Planted seeds in hearts,
And went away.
Some rapidly started to grow.
They sprouted leaves
And...
I know not how others
Compose words so fair;
For my pathetic efforts
Can not compare.
Those of the past ages
Made great works of art;...
Down the dark dungeon steps,
He ran for his life.
Down the tall tower stairs,
Footsteps close behind.
The footsteps following finally...
Down, from my sleep to the floor,
I came tumbling down.
The wind and waves caught the ship
And whipped her stern around.
Another blast...
At night when I bow my knees
And come to You in prayer,
A gentle calm surrounds me
As I leave my burdens there.
My Creator, God, and Lord...
