I am a Filipino writer seeking to become better at poetry writing. I love what Robert Frost said: "To be a poet is a condition, not a profession." I agree with him and that's probably the reason why many people can't understand the way I think or my need to express my thoughts constantly. My pseudonym is Kamila More Cabisada, a modified version of my biological mother's name. She was the mother I never knew and I write poetry, in part, to honor her memory.
