Hi! My name is Erin and I've been a poet for a while now. I discovered my love for poetry in 3rd grade when I read "The Road Not Taken" by Robert Frost. But, I was officially hooked when I read some pieces by Anne Sexton. Those two poets as well as poets like Sam Sax, Sarah Kay, and Micheal Lee are inspirations for the poetry I write. My poetry focuses a lot on me as a writer and what I've been through. I guess you could say I'm a confessional poet more then anything else. But, besides those I also love things like art and music; I'm a graphic design artist and I play the drums. So, that's a little bit about myself, and I hope you enjoy my poetry!
