Poems from Cars04

Hello! My name is Carina Guadalupe Perez, I am currently a Senior at Fallbrook High School! I love to change the world one step at a time with my spirit, love and smile. I want to make a positive difference in the world and I love the color orange! In my free time, I write haiku, senryu, ode, and freestyle poetry.
Mango oh Mango, you are so small
I found you inside a pet store shop
You help me through the day with your squawking noises you make
When...
A green parakeet
eats seeds ever so peacefully
chirping on a tree
Snow covers mountains
soft flutter, lands and touches
the whisper of snowflakes
Stars appear and bring-
to the luminous night sky,
consciousness of hope.
