A cold
so cold that it's dangerous,
loathsome
a cold that permeates
bone-
is a harbinger of illness,
of death
even.
- A freezing,
shivering...
Lady, there, sipping cappuccino
smelling sweetly of scented soap
jasmine, coconut,
lavender or vanilla.
Are you the worldly
sophisticate...
It lies beyond
even the proverbial
"heart"
- though the heart
is good
it can be fickle...
And it is not of the
gut
though the word
"gutsy"...
Autumn,
season of my birth,
season of golden- hued
leaves
some are
crimson or russet, crinckled and fallen...
These leaves and
leavings...
An indwelling
force
ancient
as humanity
a need
to cull
from our environment
depictions.
It is a bringing
forth,
the urge
to beautify
