Your Eyes

you asked me what I see in your eyes. I could’ve been cliché  and said I saw the sea, but instead I said, that I see a whole world in your eyes. With a fading blue-orange sky and crickets chirping and little children playing outside. With smiles  and frowns, ups and downs, roads and sidewalks, couples kissing on the benches, graveyards with empty trenches. I see you and me in a distant future, in a small house with little kids. I see a whole world  in your eyes.
