Your Blue Eyes

Location

They shine, they glitter, and they dance to and fro.

They laugh, they cry, they see, and they know.

They capture the drops of diamond dew from the sun,

That graces the crests of the ocean waves.

They hold me tighter and longer than an embrace,

And yet make me feel scattered all over the place.

They are deeper than the vaulted azure sky,

And more piercing than a sapphire on a rich lady’s finger.

They act like a mirror that emanates from your soul,

And capture your essence like a great silver bowl.

They laugh , they cry, and they never stop caring

Like a river they gush with compassion.

Darling, they are your blue eyes.
