Many have heard of the song that says "living young,wild, and free" 

but on this day " living young,broke,and dumb" is on what i'll speak

Indianapolis, Indiana has a population of 886,771 

where the education to most kids is nothing but drama and fun

How do you go to school and act like a fool?

So I guess failing classes , and skipping class makes you cool?

I mean that's them , so I can't relate

My education means everything to me so I put effort in my everyday

Since fourth grade i've dreamt of wearing a cap and gown

and no amount of people can tell me I can't and they won't bring me down

So what do I say, im class of 2019

I love poetry, basketball and on my freetime I sing

free education is a priviledge but not many see it that way

" I only go to school so my parents wont go away " is what they say

" If I had the option i'd stay home and sleep "

but what they don't realize is that if they want a good future they have to leap

So as I go into a new school, I hope I see some change

It's our junior year and im going to make it count in any way

can't wait till that day that I walk across the stage

and people who doubted me can sit there in rage

While I get that diploma and my family screaming in cheer

and then all that stuff I was scared of I wont ever have to fear.
