You Yell

I lie and you yell

I cry and you yell

Don’t smile or you yell

No truth in thought cause you yell

You are not happy

You say what you believe

You don’t know it all

Though your words claim to know everything

My body goes rigid

My heart is sore

I don’t want to speak because the yelling will come more

You ask for humility

You ask I take responsibility

These things are not hard

These word are not wrong

And while all the facts may be there

It sounds better to a different song

I lie because I’m scared

I cry because I know not

I smile when I’m hiding

That’s the truth in my thought

But you will never know this

You will never ask

Because when yelling no questions need answers

No yelling needs contrast
