YOU TAUGHT ME

As my teacher,

You have taught me all I can do is try,

As my friend,

You have taught me never to cry,

Always putting students before yourself,

You are simply wonderful than the rest,

The soothing words from your mouth,

Captures my mind all about,

As my inspiration,

You have taught me to be the best I can be,

As my role model,

I look up to you even for the tiniest queries,

Sure sometimes you may be strict,

Only to make sure that later we won’t trip,

And after a tiring day looking after all of us,

You come in the next day without any fuss,

One day if I become a teacher too,

I’ll strive to be exactly like you…..

I love this. Really I do. It makes me want to cry because my teacher is leaving and he means so much. I would love to see more from you. Great work!
