You say there is a God

You say there is a God,

I ask you where

You say you must believe

And he has a reason

He is hurting me

I am fifteen

And kids around my age are dying

How can you have a reason

God wants them with him you say

I respond asking why he is selfish

You say he created the world

I respond Big Bang theory

It is as if I'm alone

I have to fend for myself

God who?

I am the only one I can depend on

People leave

People die

People laugh

And people cry

Who does that make me?

I am a simple peddle

That you throw in the ocean

Wishing it was prettier

I am a worm

You rip me in half

To see if I'm still squirming

Breathing my last breath of air

Why do you do this to me?

What have I done?

If there is a God

Could he please shine down on me now
