and hang out with a bunch of thugs.
Hard and rough,
trying to be tough.
Getting in trouble
in packs of doubles.
Shooting and killing
you say its thrilling,
writing on walls
and fighting in halls,
You say you do those things,
you say you're just trying to be mean.
What are you trying to prove?
It's nothing but a bunch of moves.

gang violence affects all of us
this is something i talk to my students about in my school as a hs counselor
this poem is direct and genuine-i felt it
gave great examples
this is an opportunity to convey the importance of gang violence in an open mic series, at your school, community, etc
great job and keep writing
