You Only Write Once

Life flashes before us,

A brillant silver stream.

It sweeps you up and takes you,

Takes you on a journey.

It's not random, unplanned

It takes you to your destiney,

To a life and place you choose to be at.

Those decisions you made all your life,

Brought you to this place.

This place of beauty,

Destruction,

Happiness,

Sarrow.

Your choices bring you where you want to be,

Make you who you want to be.

Don't  let the struggles pull you down,

Under the swirling currents of life.

Kick with all your might

Stay at the surface,

And see what life you choose.
