You, Me, and Poet-tears

Fri, 06/10/2016 - 14:51 -- Lisa D

Tears are miracles.

Mixtures of wet weakness and dry determination.

Reflections of past problems, current concerns, future fears.

Reflections of forever friendships, lasting loves, and solvent strength.

Tears are basal bailouts, breaking the backs of ballpark bullies.

Cracking chains of cold sweating qualms, tears care for the cracks in our caves.

Tears are pint-sized poems pouring out from pressure.

Poems that please the eye and pain the heart.

Giving gifts of insight and shrewd sensibility.

Tears do not mean you are losing.

Tears mean you are a pained poet.

Tears are miracles.
