You Made Me Who I Am Today

All I need is that smile on your face…

Since the day you came…

I’ve been in a new and different place.

You’ve taught me patience …

You’ve taught me grace…

You’ve taught me the meaning of a change of pace.

I knew the word sacrifice…

But I never lived it till this day...

You've brought it into my life and I am so glad that it is here to stay.

I didn't plan for this to happen...

But I am sure glad that it did.

You see...

You’ve taught me that nothing matters more than you…

You’ve taught me that nothing is as important as you…

You’ve taught me that just you can make my day…

My, so many things you’re teaching me each and every day…

All I need is that sparkle in your eye…

Oh, it is you that makes me shine…

Even when its dark and grey...

Your smile always saves the day.

You see, all I need is your hand in mine…

All I need is you by my side…

It is as simple as one..two…three..

Without you I wouldn’t be me…

Without you I wouldn’t be a mommy.
