You looked right at me..

Location

It's everyday now
I'm always the target
I didn't ask to be gay, it just happened.
They always torment me, "You're gonna go to hell."
He pushed me into the back corner
"I can make you straight"
You looked right at me, turned and looked away
I screamed
They laughed
You typed
I'm fighting this battle on my own.
You're a teacher
A LEADER
I used to look up to you
I get good grades
I don't ever disrupt.
You watched me get abused
You're going to turn away?
How dare you
How dare you be an teacher of what's right and wrong
And turn away because my sexuality is something you don't believe in
I GREW UP WITH YOUR KIDS
You've known me since I was young
You know my family
How are you going to explain
You didn't see?

You looked right at me..
You looked right at me
