You Can Change the World

When you find yourself

asking yourself

what you would do if you could change the world

(if you could do anything

big

or small),

I challenge you

to walk to the nearest mirror,

look yourself dead in the eye,

and ask another question:

why am I not?

Why am I not changing the world already?

What is this force

that I have imagined for myself,

which steps in at my moment of motivation

and whispers in my ear

that my will to change the world

 is anything short of enough

to do just that?

To change the world.

The truth

is this:

whatever you do every day,

whatever actions you command your body to carry out,

are already what you would do if you had the power to change

the world,

because you already do,

so act like it.
