You Are One of Us

Location

The chaos, the frustrations

It all seeps from your pores like an infection

How can something so positive become negative within an instant?

You crush and demolish

As though you are a dump truck

Crumbling any ounce of happiness away

You're superior

You can do no wrong

That's what you want to hear

That's what you believe

But that is all fictitious

An illusion

A fabrication of who you really are

Because if you truly saw yourself

You would see that you are just as broken as others

You are just as impure.

Not one person is better than you,

But dammit not one person is less than you either.
