You

Tue, 10/07/2014 - 01:30 -- OwlFawn

When I lay down at night

And I think of life

Nothing feels right,

And I drift away.

The books, the tests,

The pencils, the rest,

The weight on my shoulders

Stacked high with stress.

One kiss from you,

One smile from you,

And easily,

I'm put at ease.

You lift me up,

You carry my weight,

You make me stop

And smile.

I thank fate for you

Every day,

Because without you,

I'd still be drifting away.
