You

Mon, 05/05/2014 - 08:48 -- N.V.T

Your lips quiver with hesitation

When you realized you held your mouth open for too long

But I stare and see the young girl in your eyes

There’s still some hope

There is still some belief

Belief in love

Belief in life

That maybe the right soul

Will walk past

At the right moment

And feel your mangled heart reaching

And hear,

Your shattered soul screaming silently

And the faint lights in your eyes

I hold to,

For that is my hope

That is what made me believe again

Awaken my soul

That rested for much longer than needed

You,

And in all your broken thoughts

Completed my wrecked morals.
