The Yellow Man in Me

A yellow man so sad and bleak
Once nipped me with his yellow beak
He pecked my cheek, and pecked my tongue
He pulled the breath inside my lungs
His sad talons grazed my back
His eyes so beady, hidden and black
His expression lifeless, a crow to speak
His mouth ajar, that sharpened beak
He carried me over the cliff he saw
And let me fall, and fall, and fall...
