Yelling At The Sky

I hope you hear me.

God.

Let me get my degree.

Let me reach my goals first.

Can you hear me?!

God?!.

Please give her time to be here.

Giver her time.

'Cause it's near.

It's near my time.

My time to give her what she gave me.

Joy.

God?

She gave me joy.

She gave me wisdom.

She gave me love.

She gave me freedom.

God.

You saw all of that right?

So why do I have this urge at night?

This urge to reach success faster.

The urge to hurry up and prove to her.

My grandmother.

Before she's gone.

God!

Take some of my time and give it to her.

When I can finally thank her and give back.

When I do just that.

I've lived fully and won't need anymore time here.

I hope you're on the prayer line.

I'm only asking for time.

Hello?

God?

Are you there?

She has been here.

Always.

She has.

She has reflected your grace.

She deserves more time.

She deserves to experience the appreciation.

With her, no life is as complete as mine.

God?!.

I'm asking you again!

Please listen.

Please move those dark clouds.

Give her time.

I'm sorry for shouting.

But I won't stop at nothing.

I will keep working.

I will show her that her dedication to get me where I am today...

Mentally...

Emotionally...

Physically...

Spiritually.

It was all worth it.

But she'll need more time.

God?

I hope you heard me.

I hope I was loud enough.

Thank you for your time.
