Seems like a problem in this age

Might be better to write your anger on a page

Turning your wrath concave

Locking it away in a cage

Despair

Tear-stained cheeks following an affair

Often followed by “What left do I have here?”

Words spilling on paper, life is suddenly “not fair”

Starting over, you have nothing to spare

I swear

 

Confidence

Doing and thinking without consequence

Struggling to restrain and contain your dominance

Writing flows to deal with your obstinance

Discussing and prescribing fix in an internal conference

Glee

Why this one is easy you see?

Works nearly always tend to be about me, glee

Talking about dreams or what you want to be

But soon they drown in water like a wanna-be

Beats me

 

Poetry is used to express emotion

Once you get the pen started, words flow like an ocean

Smoother than butter, soft like hand lotion

It helps contain feelings and prevent explosions
