Writing isn't Writing

Writing isn't writing

When I pick up the pencil to write a poem

I travel somewhere enchanted, I'm not at home,

When it's for a girl, I envision her perfection,

I do not stress about word selection,

The words flow through the pencil, like waterfalls,

I envision her smile, for it has no flaws,

My heart beats like drums, creating a tempo

When I'm done I feel so happy, I feel so gentle

The magical key to the enchanted world, is the pencil

When I pick up the pencil to write a poem

I travel somewhere enchanted, I'm not at home,

When I am faced with a problem, that is too hard to be resolved

I pick up a pencil, for a pencil always has peace involved,

The emotional stree leaves me, and transfers on to the paper,

in my enchanted room, I rehearse a sacred prayer,

I welcome in positivity, and say goodbye to the problem

I then read the poem, astonished, "looks like my pencil solved them!"

When I pick up the pencil to write a poem

I am enchanted, I am free to roam!

I can be anything I feel,

No pain or distress, cannot be healed

Writing isn't writing

writing is a teleporting device

It is always exciting, it takes me to paradise.
