Write for the World

Do not just write for yourself

Write for those who cannot express their own beauty

For the albatross that’s wings spread wide

For the sea turtle on a deep sea dive

For the tree that’s leaves block out the sun

For the wildcats that must run, run, run.

I do not write for myself

I write for those who cannot see their own beauty

For the girl who sighs out heavily when she peers into a mirror

For those who fear making their feelings clearer

For the butterfly who cannot view her wings

For all of those who forget what happiness brings.
