The Wrap Battle

Location

Back and forth the stilling moves

With its contradictory motion

And massive continuous applause

Knock objects down like a wave at sea

Non-stop rain heavily pours on window panes

With brutal sound, echoing throughout the homes

Outdoors, lays a cat surrounded by barbed wire

Unable to feel any hurt, as it already is excruciating

Poor kitty, in the rain

Not being able to move, nowhere to run,

Homeless, perhaps, even lost maybe

For we are snuggled against those that love us

"It’ll die anyway", some say

"The rain’ll stop and it’ll hide In a bush", they say

"C’mon don’t worry about it, it’ll be fine"

Wow, a definite Wrap Battle

Needless to say, it needs comfort

Without a tender care, or love, or affection,

It is indeed as good as dead

Yet, this is a battle, a wrap battle

I shall wrap up this kitty,

In a comfortable parka

Bring it to my home,

And feed it to my dogs

At least it will be appreciated,

It will be the best food they have ever had,

It will be the best thing for that poor kitty

No more suffering, no more pain

"what a twist", some will say

"poor kitty will be fed to the dogs, how brutal"

I declare my actions sane as ever

No more suffering, no more pain

I speak for the poor kitty,

When I do this,

It was left out to die, in the stormy weather

No love, or care

No more suffering, no more pain,

No suffering kitty, no pained kitty

No hurt kitty, no crying kitty,

Just the back and forth movement, of the stilling.
