World Full of Bodies

Sat, 04/14/2018 - 01:07 -- B. A.

Stereotype me all you want.

You have no idea what my future holds.

I inspire to use the pain you've brought me,

to grow into someone better than you.

For I am the current generation.

We are evolving, whether you like it or not.

Eventually, you'll be gone and I will thrive.

Next time you stereotype me into your corrupted boxes,

remember this generation will always be better than the last

and the next will be better than current.

This poem is about:
Me
My country
Our world
