The Words of My Mother

Location

The words of my mother were very true,

Such as don't steal, lie, and that it's ok to cry

These words can lead to other powerful phrases,

Like stay away from drugs and don't be afaid to give a hug

My mother spoke words of everlasting power

Saying stuff like stay clean and take a shower,

Making every day count is one of my biggest morals

If I don't live everyday to the fullest, how can I ever expect to reach my goals?

They may be high and plenty,

But with my eyes narrowed, I shall see my great future soon,

Just like lunch is to be eaten at noon

These are the words of my mother,

That were ever so clever

These are the words of my mother,

Which I will forget, never.
